El Mirador - Cd. Juarez, Mexico
I have vivid childhood memories of this community. I can still remember the bumpy, dirt roads with gutters carved from water that steadily flowed from broken water pipes. How dusty and loud it would get when squeaky automobiles would navigate through the road, avoiding big humps or pot-holes filled with water. The vendors and their bells ringing. The screaming and laughter of who we used to be as kids.

It’s all changed now. More homes, paved roads and no flowing water from broken pipes, and childhood friends gone.
