ten facts about me

Not a fan for these, but took the time to do it...

Here are the rules:
Each tagged person must post ten things about themselves. You have to choose and tag ten people. Go to their blogs and tell them you tagged them. No tag backs.

  1. I was born but never lived in Juarez, Mexico. Illegal immigrant for the first 5 years of my youth.
  2. My first artworks were created using letters and symbols on a typewriter. I would use the 0, T and > to make helicopters. For military men I would use &, / and W.
  3. I loved airplanes at one point in my young life. I knew all the facts, names, flown and even worked on them. I know nothing about them now, I am not in love with them as I was back then.
  4. I went from a $2000 a week job to being a near homeless man not too long ago. It humbled me quite a lot.
  5. I love mornings more than any time of the day. Especially when there’s coffee in the mix.
  6. I was an ice hockey goaltender for 10 years, that included a brief semi-pro career, 7 championships, too much partying, traveling and women. I quit to be a husband and a father. I lost at the championship of being a husband.
  7. I am a single father, but I keep that life private.
  8. I do not like pictures of myself, but I’m not good at being anonymous either, so I let people take pictures of me or I’ll take a self-pic to show you guys how much I suck at being anonymous.
  9. As a kid, I hated having sticky fingers…I still do.
  10. Even though I’ve never lived in Mexico, I miss not having the opportunity to have done so. I feel at home when I go and visit my parents. Sometimes I feel like not wanting to leave.
